2014 Nashville Club Officers:
With the 2014 year underway, the Nashville Club of Frontiers International hosted its first meeting of the year tonight at the Northwest Family YMCA. At this meeting, we welcomed our new slate of officers. Huge thank you to all that served in the 2013 year of service on the Executive Board.
In 2013, the Nashville Club tripled its service initiatives, number of service hours, and overall club activity. In addition, the Nashville Club continued to be involved nationally with YF Kenneth McClellan continuing as the Chairman of the Frontiers Foundation, YF Doris Petway continuing as the 3rd District Director, and myself serving as as the Financial Secretary for the Board of Directors of the Frontiers Foundation. To add to the increased activity and membership, the Nashville Club awarded its first annual College Scholarship to Mr. Daniel Shelton, Jr. Frontier, who began this past fall at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
It is with these accomplishments and energies that we enter the 2014 year of service. It is our hope to continue to build on the legacy forged by so many members that have come before us and set the precedent of living a genuine and active life of service to the Nashville Community. Look forward to 2014!
Thanks in advance Nashville Club! It is truly an honor to serve you and work with you again for yet another year!
